
How to Change Aadhar Card Name and Address ? (Online Procedure)
Step 1 : Open the Self Service Update Portal by visiting this link (https://ssup.uidai.gov.in/web/guest/ssup-home)
Please click on the below mentioned link ‘Click Here’ at the bottom of the page :-
‘ To Submit your Update/Correction request Online ‘Click Here’ ‘
Step 2 : Now to Login to your Account, you need 2 details
- Your Aadhaar Number
- Registered Mobile Number
Step 3 : Now you Need to Check the Boxes Name or Address or Both (Whichever is Applicable) & Click on ‘Submit’
Step 4 : Now you will be asked to Enter your Updated Name and/or Address. After Entering these details you need to click on ‘Submit Update Request’.
Step 5 : You will be asked to review the details entered by you. You can go back and Modify if any changes are to be made or can Proceed if you feel you have entered the correct details.
Step 6 : To update your Name & Postal Address you will need to Upload a Scanned Copy of both Identity & Address Proof. Click on ‘Submit’ after the document is successfully uploaded.
Step 7 : In this step you will be asked to choose the BPO Service Provider for your Update Request.You can Choose any 1 & Click on ‘Submit’
Step 8 : Finally your update request will be completed. You will be provided with an Update Request Number (URN). You can use this number to track your request. You can also download the File stating your URN. Also, you will get an SMS with your URN.

How to Change Aadhar Card Name and Address ? (Offline Procedure)

Download Aadhaar Change Request FormStep 2 : You need self attested photostat copies of the required documents for Identity & Address Proof
Check the List of Documents accepted as Identity & Address ProofStep 3 : Send your duly filled form and the supporting documents within an Envelope at the below mentioned Address. On the Envelope you need to give a Heading “Aadhaar Update/Correction : (Your Aadhaar Number) “. Upon successful validation of your documents and Form, the details will be updated in your Aadhaar Card and the new Aadhaar Card will be sent to you. (Check the Address Corresponding to your Local Language ):
